Opportunities

Historic Carousels, Inc. owns, operates, maintains, and manages all aspects of the carousel operation, and currently operates 8 of its 21 carousels throughout the United States.

We are the Perron family of Mt. Hood, Oregon.  We are a diversified family of successful individuals who share a common dedication of preserving the surviving antique carousels of the world.

We have amassed the world's largest and most comprehensive collection of carousel art.  We founded the first carousel museum in the United States.

We are nationally recognized as the leading authorities in restoration and the operation of antique carousels.

Historic Carousels, Inc. has several carousels seeking permanent homes.  We have currently, 3 carousels with the diameters of 32', 36' and 40' restored, reading and waiting.  We have 10 additional carousels that are still waiting for the restoration process, which allows us to tailor a carousel specific to any location.

At the current rate of dismantling the originals, there will only be about sixty remaining ten years from now.  As time passes, antique carousels will become more rare and more appreciated by the public.

The reason our company has been so successful in its mission is that not only do we provide these magnificent working pieces of art to developments at no charge, we also pay rent.  The development usually places our carousels in common areas so it receives rent for area's usually not leased.  Many developments tie their marketing and holiday events around the carousel and we try to co-market with them.
